The Corran Resort & Spa

Totally fabulous weekend from the wonderful welcome at reception . Our room was just gorgeous a lovely mixture of existing old features with modern contemporary touches. The spa experience was lovely I left feeling relaxed and glowing after my facial. The food was superb and the Restaurant Manager and his staff were so professional and attentive even though there was a large party we were not kept waiting. Jamie and Alison have created a lovely retreat for those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle. Will definitely be going back.

Highly recommended. Beautiful surroundings, fabulous staff, sheer indulgence. The food is so good , you'll be talking about until the next time you visit to get your delicious food fix. The rooms are pure luxury, the treatments in the spa are done by highly qualified friendly staff. The restaurant takes your breath away with its simplicity and decadence combined. Can't wait to return. I've attached some photos of our room, although they don't do it any justice.

We booked the Corran last minute and what luck we had. It's quite isolated but you can be in one of the local towns within 10 minutes by car. Our suite is huge and very comfortable with a large TV, sofa and very large bed. The restaurant service is attentive and the food is perfect. We recommend ordering a side of vegetables as the food is more about quality than quantity. The treatments we received were spot on with relaxation as the focus. I would recommend booking your slots early to suit your itinerary as we had to fit in around others. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. I would recommend this place for food, spa, accommodation and the rugged beautiful surroundings.

Lovelly place but could be better. No water when we visited so we had to leave and stay somewhere else or go home. Didn't even get a drink or our spa treatments. Returned the following week. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful. It could do with a freshen up in the rooms, damp in bathroom with paint bubbling off wall. Room was very big and plenty of space. Function room was fantastic but more waiting staff than residents makes you feel a little uncomfortable. Very expensive for food and drinks

We arrived at the Corran and were immediately impressed with the look and location of the place. A mix of old and new. We were an hour early before check in and the reception staff were very welcoming and said we could use the facilities straight away so we decided to sample the bar while we waited. The outside area is beautiful and felt very relaxed. We stayed in room 17 in the great barn and the room is gorgeous and has everything you need. Great selection of teas and coffees and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was also a hit with its massage feature. The food was stunning, very tasty and even being vegetarian there was plenty of choice. We were shocked at how reasonable the prices are for food and drink considering the quality of it all. The espresso martini and selection of flavoured gins were a particular favourite! The pool and sauna was lovely and I had a full body massage which was gorgeous and again very reasonably priced. All staff were very friendly and easy to talk to. Overall there was nothing I could find to criticise and we will definitely stay again.

Birthday surprise for my husband. No complaints. Staff very attentive, especially Jay who was our breakfast waiter. Spa the best I have had both in UK and Europe. Emma Peck I cannot thank you enough fantastic massage and I will definitely be back. Beds so comfortable. Food lovely. Pool lovely and warm
